Globally, anemia affects 56 million pregnant women, especially women with a low household income. Functional erythropoiesis requires a constant supply of micronutrients, and the demands significantly increase during fetal development. This study aims to identify dietary patterns for preventing gestational erythropoiesis-associated micronutrient deficiencies (e.g., iron, folic acid, and vitamin B12).

Bullying is a major public health concern for Indonesian adolescents, with well-documented links to a range of emotional and behavioral problems. Despite such evidence, few investigations have employed qualitative methods to illuminate youth’s own perceptions of bullying and its psychosocial correlates in this context.

Purpose: In low- and middle-income countries, there are limited data on mental disorders among adolescents. To address this gap, the National Adolescent Mental Health Surveys (NAMHS) will provide nationally representative prevalence data of mental disorders among adolescents in Kenya, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Purpose: Based on the 2020 census, 16.47% of Indonesia’s 270.2 million population were adolescents. Although the adolescence period has been identified as a critical developmental period, there remains a large gap in prevalence data available for mental disorders in Indonesia. Indonesia – National Adolescent Mental Health Survey (I-NAMHS) is the first national representative adolescent mental health survey conducted in Indonesia. It aims to assess mental disorder prevalence in Indonesia as well as several other risks and protective factors identified as contributing to adolescent mental health. This survey is a collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), the University of Queensland (UQ), and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH). I-NAMHS fits within a larger, multi-country project, National Adolescent Mental Health Surveys (NAMHS), alongside colleagues in Kenya (K-NAMHS) and Vietnam (V-NAMHS).

The Fry et al. article suggests that productivity can be improved by ranking researchers on a platform, but this assumption overlooks the possibility that previous resource allocation may not have been inefficient. The proposed solution simply shifts resources towards measurable metrics, such as SINTA, without a clear understanding of its long-term effects. Therefore, it is important to consider potential trade-offs and be mindful of whether such policies are beneficial in the future.

Introduction: Dental anxiety was found to be related to the radiographic procedure and can be influenced by sociodemographic characteristics of patients such as age, gender, level of education, and provoking factors such as past dental examination experience. Evaluating the anxiety regarding dental radiographic examination could be beneficial in ensuring the procedure’s continuance. This study aimed to measure the radiology knowledge among dental students and its association with anxiety due to dental radiographic examination.

Background: Community-integrated health posts (Posyandu) are crucial for extending primary healthcare across diverse geographical and demographic landscapes in Indonesia. Community health workers (CHWs) currently function as the main service delivery actors for Posyandu. However, Posyandu’s performance remains below the standards set by the Ministry of Health. This study examines health system determinants that explain the poor performance of Posyandu and, in particular, examines the roles of village and township governance and community health center management in supporting the effectiveness of primary healthcare programs.
